Get Lost Escape Rooms opened in Dover in January 2018. We have recently developed our third room with further rooms to come

    The Escape Room Industry is rapidly evolving and this position offers the opportunity to develop a varied skill set in a fast paced and unpredictable environment. Team members at Get Lost have the unique opportunity to work in a Customer Service role where the primary responsibility is to ensure the customer has the best experience possible.

    Our ideal candidate is someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Someone who is quick thinking, happy to adapt and use their initiative. A team player, who is also able to work independently, with little to no supervision and must be fluent in English. Previous customer service experience is valued. Ability to work a varied schedule based on business needs, which will include weekends. Please be advised, this is a demanding job both physically and mentally with often long hours, we regularly close after 11pm at weekends.

    Main Responsibilities

    Provide a professional, personalised and friendly customer service –

    • Greet customers
    • Get to know them, discuss their experience
    • Brief them on the game and rules. Debrief them after their game providing insight and encouragement
    • Monitoring games, providing hints/dialogue to enhance the experience
    • Resetting rooms to exact criteria and reporting/fixing issues/breakages

     Develop a comprehensive understanding of the systems used-

    • Booking systems – make and change bookings
    • Payment software – take payments
    • Excel, Microsoft Word
    • Apple computers/software
    • Social Media management and posting

    Assist with day-to-day operations-

    • Answering phone calls, replying to messages and emails
    • Tidying and cleaning the rooms, offices and reception areas
    • General maintenance towards rooms and props
    • Marketing and promoting as an ambassador for Get Lost Escape Rooms
    • Contribute towards room decorating/construction as required
    • Follow company procedures to ensure a safe environment for team and customers
